Having worked with a number of different athletes over the past 10 years one question I continually get asked is ‘who are the fittest athletes?’ This is a very hard question to answer because every person’s concept of fitness is slightly different. So to be able to answer that question more accurately we need to first understand what defines fitness at the elite level. Although I appreciate that everyone will have a different definition of fitness and will place a greater emphasis on certain elements of fitness over others, I believe we need to take into consideration all of the facets of fitness to be able to make an informed judgment on the ‘fittest’ athlete.

What you do everyday matters more than what you do once in a while...consistency is key people
This is me dead on the floor after training with my PT, yes I also have a trainer. Why? Because someone always pushes you harder, makes you step out of your comfort zone to push your limits and that's how you really get results. If I had it my way I'd have a trainer every day!
